Rare New IPO

Varolii Corp., a Seattle company formerly known as Par3 Communications, has filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to raise up to $86.3 million in an initial public offering.

The company, which provides on-demand communications software, is led by Nicholas Tiliacos, the former CEO of software company Mosaix. The company posted a loss of $4.9 million last year on revenue of $50.9 million.
