CEO of the Year

As a subscriber to Washington CEO, I thoroughly enjoy the informative articles from around our region that are included each month. I was however a bit surprised to receive the latest issue which contained an article on Patty Stonesifer. I can’t remember the last time the CEO of the year didn’t have a picture of that person on the cover. It looks more like Bill Gates is CEO of the year from the illustration that ended up being the cover. I could be mistaken, but that is my recollection.

I realize that there are myriads of factors that go into making decisions about photo and article placement. As I mentioned, I found this particular decision to be a disappointment. She deserved the cover, not just a byline.
