We transformed an outdated telecommunications building into a new civic structure through REINVENTION with distinct architectural forms, TRANSFORMATION from heavy and opaque to transparent and welcoming, and RENOVATION to suit complex programming needs.

Twin Aisle Café

Located within Boeing's Everett factory, the largest building in the world by volume, the Twin Aisle Café offers production-line workers as well as administrative staff a place to dine or take a break while overlooking airliners in production. The café design, by DLR Group, was awarded first place in the Design IN Mass category by the International Interior Design Association's Northern Pacific Chapter.

Patkau Architects, Center for Music Art and Design

CMAD interweaves above-and belowground urban conditions to create a vibrant environment for interdisciplinary learning. A distilled program of "six big rooms" plus mix space is assembled spatially to multiple possibilities for interconnection and overlap.

Set the remote, high desert landscape of Idaho, Outpost is a studio/workshop, sculpture garden and "paradise garden" for making and displaying art.

Sterling Residence

Exhibiting a bold structural statement in traditional Queen Anne, this contemporary home conceals a refined masculinity behind large usage of white stucco mixed with hints of cedar rain screen applications. The project scope includes 3 bedrooms, a private exterior courtyard, and an independent accessory dwelling.
